Taxes in America:

Are all Americans truly equal?

Churches are tax exempt in the good Ole USA. The Supreme Court proclaimed that if churches were taxed, it would violate the separation of church and state.  Go figure!  The Supreme Court has got it wrong because of their personal bias which stems from their religion.  I would bet if the judges of the Supreme Court were Atheists and Realists, the churches would be paying their fair share of taxes and that would truly be a separation of church and state. The fat cat clergyman that is driving a Cadillac and living in a mansion will help pay down the national debt when they start paying their fair share of taxes.

The Bible endorses the right of governments to tax citizens. Jesus paid taxes and called on His disciples to do so, as well (Matthew 17:24-27, 22:15-22). Paul the apostle also discussed taxation, and wrote in Romans 13.

For whatever reason, the churches of today won’t take responsibility and pay for their freedom like everyone else. Our freedom is not free, but the churches get a free ride; that is not equal rights for all Americans. It’s way past time to make the churches accountable.

The Immigration Dilemma:

Migrant: One who temporarily migrates for the purpose of finding work. 

Immigrant: One who immigrates to another country and claims residency.

Refugee: One who flees for safety especially to a foreign country.

There seems to be a natural instinct for immigrants to migrate and when religion is added to the scenario it justifies the unjustifiable, perpetrating the takeover of land that is already inhabited by other cultures and religions; "Psalm 2:8-12 NIV, Ask me; "Genesis 15:7". I just can't understand why certain cultures and religions think they have the right to take something that isn't theirs. The 8th commandment say's "You shall not steal". What is wrong with being content with what they already have? The 10th commandment say's; "You shall not covet".

If there was some kind of a catastrophe that would make it imperative for the inhabitants to relocate, then a migration would be justified but it should be a migration to unoccupied land or to a country that welcomes immigrants of other cultures and religions. A forced occupation for any reason is a primitive solution and would not be sustainable in the modern world. If a culture or religion is being forced off of their home land by an aggressor, they should stay and fight for their inalienable right to live free on the land they rightfully occupy. If they don't have the will or means to fight for their home land and they become displaced, their migration will simply be kicking the can down the road and they most likely will not be welcome wherever they go.

Human rights vs. the Bible

Understanding human rights:
Scripture is authoritative in that it is identity shaping. There is no concept of “basic human rights” in the bible. This is an Enlightenment concept and while some of them have Judeo-Christian roots, the bible itself does not have any concept of human rights the way that we do today.

The Bible dictates what we can and cannot do as children of God, not what we have the right to do. So, if you are of a religion, I believe you should give more credence to the Constitution than you give to the Bible, Koran or Torah, otherwise you have no rights and you are nothing more than a slave to your religion. Just remember, the next time you demand your right to religious freedom, you won't get an answer from God, you will find the answer in the US Constitution, the Bill of Rights and the Declaration of Independence (DOI).  Honor the US constitution and you will be rewarded by the freedoms our Democracy provides.

Equal rights by God

The second paragraph of the United States Declaration of Independence starts as follows: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights that among these are Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.

Our question for this issue is indeed an interesting one: A reader asks: "Has God created all men equal?"

Perhaps the most famous statement of equality is found in the American "Declaration of Independence" (DoI). It says that "all men are created equal." Their equality, according to the DoI, consists in this, that "they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights; that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness."

Many Americans believe that the DoI is a Christian document, and point to such statements as these as proof. What they overlook is the fact that these statements are humanistic lies from beginning to end. They come from the Deism (a denial of God's presence in and government of the world) of the French Revolution rather than from Scripture. The fact that the DoI mentions a Creator should not blind us to this fact. Nowhere, does Scripture say that men have certain "unalienable rights." In fact, the truth of Scripture is that men have no rights with God at all.

The reality of equal rights:
The commentary by Reverend Ronald Hanko is basically a half truth. His explanation of whether or not God created man to be equal muddies up the clear waters of reality. As in religion and all of life, everything comes down to one’s interpretation and personal opinion. The Reverend certainly has his opinion as I have mine and in my opinion, his is based on a myth while mine is based on reality. He is right about God not creating all men equal; however, the constitution declares freedom and equal rights to all Americans claiming that all men are created equal. The word created, is not exclusive to God; man created the Bible and the constitution and every American has the right to pick and choose thanks to the constitution of the USA, not the Bible. I have to give credit where credit is due.

Comment:
The Bill of Right’s is an extension of the US Constitution. It consists of 10 amendments to the Constitution. Without the Constitution, there would be no Bill of Rights. The Declaration of Independence stands alone, however, it was designed to justify breaking away from a government but it is worthless without the constitution. The Constitution and the Bill of Rights were designed to establish a legitimate government.

Racism in America

Are you racist? 
I do not believe my point of view is racism. To me, I am seeing things as they really are. The ongoing drum beat of Black America signifies that they are victims of white supremacy.  As a white American, I do not agree with that premise and that does not make me racist. I believe if black America would stop playing the victim and blaming white America for its so-called oppression, they would have a far better opportunity to achieve their own greatness. America was founded on the concept of equal rights for all Americans, but equality isn't just a gift from our 
forefathers, it is a right and whether you are black or white, you have to earn it. The wealthy and successful blacks in America didn't become successful by blaming whites for oppressing black America. 
 
Denigrating America for one's own inadequacies is considered freedom of speech; violently marching through the streets causing havoc and destruction is not. My not condoning these attitudes and actions does not make me a racist, it makes me a Realist. What are you?

Black lives matter

Racial division: 
We have to stay united as Americans, not separated racially. If an activist for racial equality uses violence to express their grievances, they are assimilating the violent tactics of the KKK, which will cause more tension between blacks and whites. In America, this kind of activist uses the first amendment of the constitution like it is their personal amendment and they use it to step on the rights of the majority. These activists definitely have a grievance, but violence isn’t the answer to the racial issues in the world today. America is a country of laws, and everyone has an obligation to honor them. Without laws to defend our rights, we would have chaos. Vigilantism is a religion to some people, and they use it for revenge instead of using the law of due process. There are activists with good intentions who say their protest is non-violent and within the law, but at the same time they are breaking the law because it disrupts people’s lives and can provoke violence which is against the law. In my opinion, America’s right to peaceably assemble, (protest) is a form of legalized terrorism. Whether a protest is peaceable or violent, it will most likely have a negative outcome.

I have a suggestion; stay home, sit back in your recliner and tweet your grievances. That will be better for all Americans.

Black and White

Color me non-racist:
Using the word racism is generally a misnomer because it is usually racial misunderstanding not racism.

Racism: Definition – a belief that some races are by nature superior to others; also: discrimination based on such a belief.

As a white person, I do not believe I am racist. If I dislike someone or disagree with someone and they happen to be black, I am considered racist. I do not believe, nor have I ever believed that the white race is superior to any other race. So, color me non-racist. Please!

An American success story

Akil Ross:

LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. —the newly crowned national high school principal of the year —Chapin's Akil Ross —flunked third grade. He repeated the grade because he was "not up to par" as a student. He also tried to doctor his report card, turning the Fs into As, in an unsuccessful attempt to convince his mother he was a top student. Eventually, he learned that a better way to turn Fs into As was studying.

The experience taught him the value of attention to detail and how to better focus, which turned his life around and laid the groundwork for a career in education that has earned him top awards.
The most recent came on Oct. 20 when he was surprised at a school assembly with the announcement that he had been named best in his profession by the National Association of Secondary School Principals.

Questioning your faith


Life with purpose:
Do you think your religion is the only true religion while all of the other religions are worshiping a false God? What is the purpose of your religion in contrast to all other religions? Did you study other religions before you made your choice, and do you know and understand the purpose and goals of all other religions? In your mind's eye, what purpose has God bestowed on you and do all of God’s followers have the same purpose? Do you recognize and understand the cross-purpose of the nonreligious? If you are a Freethinker, you decide your own purpose. My purpose is to live the truth not a myth.

Evolutionary incarnation

 When you are alive, you are relevant, and you give your life purpose. However, when you die, death ends your existence making your entire life irrelevant and thus, your purpose dies with you. I believe everyone has an eternal spirit, so in that sense we all have purpose and we become relevant again through reincarnation. I do not mean that in a religious sense, I mean it in an evolutionary sense. Whether you are a religious person or a non-religious person, evolution created our past and it is perpetually creating our future. I'm a big fan of evolution, I just wish it wasn't so slow evolving hate and evil out of our lives. Hopefully by my next life, hate and evil will have evolved into goodness and kindness.

Religion and politics (USA)

 Religion is the largest political machine on earth. There is no government or law that isn't influenced in one way or another by this political machine called religion. Has anyone ever considered that this influence just may be a negative influence and not a positive one? All one needs to do is pay attention to the hate and strife that has been emanating from our governments and religions throughout the world. The Middle Eastern countries of the world are the most influenced by their native religion because they do not have a separation between their religion and their government. The US has a separation of church and state built into its constitution, but it isn't honored and it is contested by zealous Christians and Muslims who believe their religion preempts the US constitution and local laws.

Wake up America, our constitutional freedoms are being threatened by religion.

The Pledge of Allegiance (USA)

In 1954, at President Eisenhower's urging, the Congress legislated that “under God” be added to the pledge of allegiance making the pledge read: "I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all." 
 
That change was a travesty to the original pledge of allegiance and our constitution. It was a serious violation of the separation of church and state and our constructional rights. America was not founded on Christianity and the belief in God, it was founded on freedom for all, not just the religious. Adding the words under God does not make it true and it transgresses our constitution. If one wants to pledge their allegiance to God, they should go to Church. I will always honor and respect the original Pledge of Allegiance.

God given rights?


Constitutionally speaking:
Christian’s tend to use the Bible to justify their beliefs and actions. Some Christians claim to have a God given right to defy the constitution and local laws that make all Americans equal. Instead of claiming their constitutional right, some will claim it as their God given right. Those who make that claim obviously haven’t read the Bible.

Example 1: “I have a God given right to possess a weapon for my defense.” --Not so! Our right to bear arms is in the 2nd amendment of the US Constitution, not in the Bible.

Example 2: “It is my God given right to refuse service to same sex couples.” --Not so! There is no passage, verse or scripture in the Bible that justifies that claim; also, that claim is contrary to our constitutional rights of equality. Constitutionally speaking; we are all created equal, sorry, the Bible doesn’t say that, but the constitution/DOI does.

Faith, misunderstood:

One can be faithful to their Religion while acknowledging the flaws within it. Ignoring the flaws is the same as condoning them. There is no perfect faith but one should still strive for perfection and in doing so, one will have to face the truth. Truth is the common denominator in everything so everyone should have faith in the truth. There is a fake faith issue within the religions of today which is the denial of the truth. Denial is the glue that has held faith together within the religions of the world. Therefore, faith has been and still is misunderstood.

Everything! This is the explanation for why religions, and religious people, become dogmatic, narrow-minded, and absolutely certain that their beliefs are right, and others are wrong. It is the spiritual illness of our time and it is anything but genuine faith. Faith is so much more than the declarations you make.

Democratic Ideologies

Socialism vs. freedom of choice:
It always astounds me when I hear people claim socialism is a better system of government than capitalism. Who in their right mind would want to give up their freedom of choice and give the government supreme power over them? Oh, I forgot about all the free stuff they will get. They would get free medical benefits, free food, free housing and best of all they would get a free education. Gee, I wonder who is going to pay for all that. I know who will have to pay for it, the tax payers, but where are you going to find the taxpayers if everything is free? They won’t have to work so they won’t have to pay income tax, they won’t have to pay sales tax because everything is free. Man, what a deal! Where do I sign up?

Back to reality; the proud, hard working, tax paying Americans reject this ridiculous concept of socialism. They take pride in contributing to America not demanding and taking from it.

The Treasonous Media

Dividing America:
Who is dividing America? The mainstream news media: CNN, MSNBC, NBC, ABC, CBS, ESPN, Washington Post and the New York Times. What about FOX News, OAN and Newsmax? Well, if you have ever watched Fox News, OAN and Newsmax, you would know that they are consistently defending America and the constitution from these piranha entities. The mainstream networks mentioned are using hate to report their fake news. They are destroying America by means of slandering, attacking and blaming America's 45th President for all the negative issues that confront us. They shamelessly and relentlessly attacked President Trump to demean all of the positive things he has accomplished during his tenure as the 45th President and the democrats have been lavishing in those attacks. Whenever President Trump would accomplish something positive, they always put a negative spin on it instead of giving him deserved accolades. The media and the democrats are continuing their efforts to basically destroy America and its constitution. They are responsible for the division of our country and if we ignore that fact, it will eventually be the downfall of America. The media is America’s number one enemy, and the Democrat's are the runner's up.

Treason in the USA

The door to freedom in America is always open: 
The complainers, protestors, rioters and looters, are free to leave this great country any time they want. 

Our freedom to leave is not just a Constitutional right, it is a basic human right, so why complain and protest?  Just pack up your bags and move to a country that is more suited to your needs. I suggest, Iran, North Korea, China and Russia. Those Countries love traitors of America and would welcome you with open arms. I personally pick Patriotism over treason.

What is America?

America is us, which also means US.  The United States is getting a bad rap. Isn’t all of the fuss about the US Flag and the pledge of allegiance just plain childish?  It’s way past time to grow up America. The USA is on a self-destruction mode, and it is time to end it before it is too late. If you are one who takes a knee or turns your back on the US flag instead of pledging your allegiance, it’s time for you to pack up your bags and move to a country you think is better than the United States of America. If you want to make America greater, all you have to do is stop your complaining and open up your mind to the gift our forefathers gave us via the Constitution, the Bill of Rights and the Declaration of Independence, (DOI).

The takeover of America:

 In America, religions are trying to change the US constitution instead of assimilating into the US culture.  This is how religions take over countries and ironically the US constitution is the only power that protects freedom of religion and this freedom is being abused.  Christians claim that the USA was founded on Christianity so they believe the supreme law is God’s law; that claim debases the US constitution.  The premise that Christians founded America has no more merit than Muslims and Jews claiming they are the founders of America.  Ask the American Indian who the founder of America is.

The framers of the constitution intended the constitution to be of a secular nature to ensure the separation of church and state.  Without the separation of church and state, America would be no different than Iran and other countries that are ruled by a dictatorship.

Americas only hope for true equality is the constitution which allows for freedom of practicing your religion, however, it doesn’t allow for religion to defy the constitution and make its own laws.  America is one nation, one constitution which predicate’s the separation of church and state.  For those people who want to live in a country that is governed by their religion, I suggest that you move to Iran, or better yet, go find a deserted island and start your own country. You could name it Pious Island and write your own constitution.

Defund or Defend America’s Law Enforcement?


Flirting with Chaos: 
To me, the choice is easy. Defend! - Without law enforcement, there would be no laws to enforce. Take our driving laws for example; Imagine yourself driving on the highway and there were no speed limit signs and no traffic lights or stop signs to obey and the Police were nowhere to be seen. Who would you call if you were in an accident or a road rage incident? Maybe your Mother. I can hear it now; - “HEY MA, there is a road rage guy chasing me, what should I do?” Good luck with that, I prefer calling the Police.


Here is a different scenario; - “You come home from work only to find your house has been ransacked and Mom is missing. Wouldn’t it be more prudent to call the police rather than your Mom? However, if the idiots of the far left managed to defund and abolish law enforcement, you are on your own. Think about it and don’t give yourself any illusions that this could not happen to you.

American values

 If you are a person who thinks the American values are in decline because of the lack of religion or more specifically Christianity, you are delusional. Religion is being forced into our governmental process by the pious Hypocrites that have control of our government, which is the main cause of discord within our entire political system. If you disagree, please tell me how many Atheists and Realists, within the American system are controlling it. The Christians are in control or should I say, out of control and need to be checked.

According to an ABC News Pole, Eighty-three percent of Americans identify themselves as Christians. Most of the rest, 13 percent, have no religion. That leaves just 4 percent as adherents of all non-Christian religions combined — Jews, Muslims, Buddhists and a smattering of individual mentions.

Dominance of religion:

 Did you ever notice that you can't go anywhere or do anything without religion having its Holy nose in your life? It's everywhere! If you are of a religion, you probably haven't noticed because you are in the thick of it all. Judaism, Christianity and Islamism are the main stream religions and they are competing for the dominant position in today's world religions and the result is Holy terrorism. No matter which religion you are committed to, you are promoting terrorism by doing nothing but pointing your Holy finger at each-other. Oh, I'm sorry, I forgot, it's those Holy extremists who are to blame. When you stay in the background while these so called extremists are taking over your precious religion and eventually your country, you are aiding and abetting and that makes you a silent terrorist.

The answer to solving the religion dilemma is a long one and it has to start with communication between unified religions, not competitive ones. Terrorism is a product of religion and it can only be stopped by the people of these religions. Try unity.

Religion and Politics

Our founding fathers understood well the extraordinary danger of mixing religion and politics; we forget that lesson at our great peril. If we forget, just glance over to the Middle East. I tremble in fear for my country when the majority of conservatives believe we are a Christian nation; that frightening majority has forgotten our history, ignored our founding principles and abandoned our most cherished ideal of separating church and state. In mixing religion and politics, the religious right subverts both. And the world suffers.

The Moral Majority


The Moral Majority was a prominent American political organization associated with the Christian right and Republican Party. It was founded in 1979 by Baptist minister Jerry Falwell and associates, and dissolved in the late 1980's.  Even though it was dissolved, it never died and is now a plague within the Republican Party which is a blatant act of disrespect for the US constitution, specifically the separation of church and state.  This plague is, and always will be a threat to America if we don’t enforce our constitution.  Religion belongs in Church not in our government.

If the so called moral majority is truly moral, why do they give credence to the atrocities of the Old Testament?  Why do they think slavery, killing and taking peoples land is moral? What is moral about their blatant discrimination against same sex relationships and their right to the have the same freedoms as Christians.  Where are their morals when they lie, cheat and con people to get what they want?  If they call those indiscretions good morals, they definitely have a different standard of morals than I do.

The self-righteous founder of the Moral Majority was presumptuous in claiming his representation of the Christian right exemplified a moral majority.  My question is this; the majority of what? Idiots? No entity has the moral right to decide what a person's moral values and principles are. By my standards, there are a countless number of immoral verses and passages in the Christian Bible and the so called Moral Majority claims righteousness from that Bible.  Here is one example; "Slavery is an everlasting institution. Slaves are to obey their masters in everything. LE 25:44-46, DT 15:17, EP 6:5, CN 3:22, TS 2:9, PE 2:18"..... That is truly immoral and you will find many more immoral passages in the Bible, Koran and the Torah.

The power of unity

Dominance of religion: 
Did you ever notice that you can't go anywhere or do anything without religion having its Holy nose in your life? It's everywhere! If you are of a religion, you probably haven't noticed because you are in the thick of it all. Judaism, Christianity and Islamism are the main stream religions and they are competing for the dominant position in today's world religions and the result is Holy terrorism. No matter which religion you are committed to, you are promoting terrorism by doing nothing but pointing your Holy finger at each-other. Oh, I'm sorry, I forgot, it's those Holy extremists who are to blame. When you stay in the background while these so called extremists are taking over your precious religion and eventually your country, you are aiding and abetting and that makes you a silent terrorist.

The answer to solving the religion dilemma is a long one and it has to start with communication between unified religions, not competitive ones. Terrorism is a product of religion and it can only be stopped by the people of these religions. Try unity, that is what the United States of America is all about.
